You are probably aware of some issues in the supply chain. Perhaps you have visited the grocery store or a big box retailer and found empty shelves. Like many people you may conclude that this is a temporary situation. In this video we’ll highlight 4 factors causing the supply chain crisis.
In this video we look at four reasons for the breakdown in the global supply chain. These factors are things like The Pandemic causing a major stoppage in the flow of global shipping. Psychology is another way from the “lying flat,” or tang ping movement to van-life mentality and even people choosing family life over work in the United states. The resulting logistical bottlenecks mean that shipping containers have quadrupled in price. The final straw is the energy crisis in China caused by a shift in it’s trade with Australia and a crack down on pollution. The factories that make microchips and thousands of other consumer goods are unable to predict if they will have electricity because of power outages.
