Boris Johnson defends MPs' second jobs but says they must follow rules

Boris Johnson has said MPs who break the rules ‘should be punished’, as the former UK attorney general Sir Geoffrey Cox faces claims of conflict of interest. Speaking during a news conference at the Cop26 climate change summit in Glasgow, the prime minister said there was good reason for allowing second jobs for MPs but they must ‘follow the rules’
