Boris Johnson stumbles while reading a speech at the annual conference of UK business bosses.

Mr Johnson appeared to come unstuck while speaking about electric cars at the Confederation of British Industry, before asking delegates about their attendance at Peppa Pig World.

It’s comes at a tough time for his government, after it was accused of going back on promises of regional rail investment as HS2 was scaled back and a new Manchester-Leeds line abandoned.
