What does it mean to be consistent is a great question. It tells me you’re searching for success. No matter what goal you’re after, if you create a plan and do it daily, you will get a result. Execution is the hard part for most people.
My answer to the question what does it mean to be consistent is identifying a goal and then deciding what the three process goals or system is to achieve that goal. Then you decide if you’re going to do them daily or at the most weekly. Your plan should never include actions that your do any further out than weekly.
The most important part of what does it mean to be consistent is making sure no matter what, you complete those process goals when you say you’re going to.
Let say I want to lose 10 pounds within the next 12 weeks. My process goals would be to workout with weights six days per week and do 30 minutes of cardio six days per week and eating clean six days per week.
Now comes the most important part. Doing those daily actions consistently. You must execute.
So what does it mean to be consistent? It means making a commitment to do those actions when you say you will every day or consistently.
I can beat anybody at anything I put my mind to as long as I have a plan and I execute that plan every single day. You don’t control your results. You control what you do every day and here is that word again consistently. It is so important to the success of your plan.
Success is really pretty simple. It is doing a few key actions every day. Here is what you should do next. Decide for yourself what does it mean to be consistent and go out and do it. If you do and stay consistent this time next year your life will be entirely different. One last thing. Start off small and scale up as you create your routines.
