Deep within Russia’s icy region of Siberia is the tiny town of Oymyakon. Though little known to the outside world, it is the coldest city in the world that is permanently inhabited. In truth it is barely inhabitable, and in this video we look at the difficult life locals need to bare. It’s a place where water freezes immediately and winter lasts 9 months each year. Indeed, Oymyakon is so cold you would not even want to visit it.
