Finishing Off Old Artwork {Preparing my Paintings to Sell}

{PART 2 COMING THURSDAY!} Join me for a day in the studio as I am finishing off old artwork & preparing my paintings to sell on Etsy. My new collection is being released 8th October and I have to sign all my paintings, hang backs on them & varnish. Lots of people ask me about signing my paintings. I usually use the same colours from the painting and pick one that would sit nicely in the corner. It’s totally a personal choice and you can choose a colour that stands out against your painting, or find one that blends in so that it doesn’t draw attention. I use a really tiny brush, probably the smallest you can find at the art store. TIP: If you have one that isn’t quite small enough, you can give it a little trim (with scissors) at the sides to make the tip smaller.
