Όπως αναφέρουν ξένα μέσα ενημέρωσης, το υπουργείο Άμυνας της Αγγλίας, ανακοίνωσε σήμερα, ότι η Βρετανική Βασιλική αεροπορία, πραγματοποίησε στις 25 Οκτωβρίου, μία επίθεση με ένα μη επανδρωμένο εναέριο όχημα, τύπου MQ9 Reaper, εναντίον στόχου του Ισλαμικού κράτους, στη βόρεια Συρία.
Πιο συγκεκριμένα ανέφερε, πως το χτύπημα πραγματοποιήθηκε κοντά στην πόλη Ras al Ayn, με πυραύλους τύπου Hellfire, που εκτοξεύτηκαν από ένα UAV MQ9 Reaper, εναντίον του στόχου που εντόπισαν και ανέμεναν να βρεθεί σε ασφαλές σημείο, δηλαδή να είναι μόνος του, ώστε να μην υπάρξουν παράπλευρες απώλειες.
Η ανακοίνωση τελειώνει λέγοντας ότι το χτύπημα στέφθηκε από επιτυχία.
Έτσι βλέπουμε ότι στο παιχνίδι της Συρίας, παραμένει ακόμα και η Μεγάλη Βρετανία, όπου σε ανύποπτες στιγμές, διεξάγει επιχειρήσεις.

According to foreign media, the British Ministry of Defense announced today that the British Royal Air Force, on October 25, carried out an attack with an unmanned aerial vehicle, type MQ-9 Reaper, against a target of the Islamic State in northern Syria.
More specifically, it said that the attack took place near the city of Ras al Ayn, with Hellfire missiles, fired from a UAV MQ-9 Reaper, against the target that they located and expected to be in a safe place, ie to be alone, so that there are no collateral losses.
