Σύμφωνα με πληροφορίες του Κυπριακού τηλεοπτικού σταθμού Σίγμα, τις οποίες αναμεταδίδουν τα περισσότερα Ελληνικά ειδησεογραφικά μέσα, τουρκικά πολεμικά πλοία, βρίσκονται εντός της Κυπριακής ΑΟΖ, στη θαλάσσια περιοχή, που έχει προγραμματιστεί, να διενεργηθούν έρευνες από το σκάφος Nautical Geo.
Αναλυτικότερα, στην περιοχή πλέουν δύο τουρκικές φρεγάτες και μία κορβέτα, εμποδίζοντας οποιοδήποτε άλλο πλοίο να πλησιάσει, ενώ το ερευνητικό σκάφος Nautical Geo, βρίσκεται αγκυροβολημένο στο λιμάνι της Λάρνακας.
Τα τουρκικά πλοία πραγματοποιούν εκεί δήθεν ασκήσεις, μετά από παράνομη Navtex που εξέδωσε την περασμένη Τρίτη, 5 Οκτωβρίου, η Τουρκία.

According to information from the Cypriot television station Sigma, which is broadcast by most Greek news outlets, Turkish warships are located in the Cyprus EEZ, in the sea area, which is scheduled to be explored by the Nautical Geo vessel.
More specifically, two Turkish frigates and a corvette are sailing in the area, preventing any other ship from approaching, while the research vessel Nautical Geo is anchored in the port of Larnaca.
Turkish ships are allegedly conducting exercises there, following an illegal Navtex issued by Turkey on Tuesday, October 5th.
